The U.S. Army REF Knowledge Management System (KMS) is a web-enabled ERP application supporting the various business functions required to fulfill the REF’s mission. Capriccio built the initial system and continues to enhance the system while providing post deployment support. Supporting more than 150 users worldwide, Capriccio provides project management, software application development, portal development and maintenance, system baseline control, change request tracking and implementation, database administration, systems integration, help desk support, web-based training, instructor-led training, information assurance (IA) support, and full life-cycle support, including requirements gathering, testing, quality assurance (QA), and configuration management (CM).

  • History: After working with another vendor for several years, the U.S. Army Rapid Equipping Force (REF) opened the competition for the KMS by having Capriccio analyze the previous company’s work and prescribing a remediation plan. Utilizing our existing Fuzion platform, Capriccio was able to duplicate 90% of existing functionality in six weeks. In the end, Capriccio was selected to develop the KMS.
